Cleansing & Charging Your Yoni Egg
How to Wash
Before using your yoni egg for the first time please inspect it and make sure the gem was not damaged during shipping. The inner cracks are normal for rose quartz. However, if you find any outer cracks (the ones you can feel with your finger), it means the egg was damaged during shipping – please do not use it and immediately contact me.
After you inspected the egg, wash it twice in warm water with soap and air-dry. It is better to use natural organic non scented body soap for sensitive skin.

Another way of cleaning the egg is by boiling a pot of water, then removing the water from the stove. Let the water cool for a little while, you should be able to put a finger in it. Now you can set your egg in the water for 12-15 minutes. You can add a few drops of recommended essential oils in the water if you wish.
Please do not boil your egg, it might cause it to crack.
Wash your egg thoroughly before and after each use.
How to Spiritual Cleanse & Charge
A gemstone never loses it's earth given energy, however, it's a good idea to clear and prepare your yoni egg to remove any negative or dull energy that may be lingering and to bring her pure crystal energy back to her original state. Also, you'll want to infuse your yoni egg with your own energy and vibrations for the ultimate healing experience.
Here a few ways to clear and prepare gemstones:
Sea salt bath: place your yoni egg in a glass bowl with clean water and sea salt. Leave no longer than overnight in the water.
Sage, cedar, or palo santo: burn near your yoni egg so that it absorbs the cleansing smoke from your smudge stick. Check out our smudge kits here.
Sunshine and moonlight: leave your yoni egg in the sunshine for no more than two hours (the suns energy is powerful and can drain gemstones as well as affect their natural color). You may leave your yoni egg in the moonlight over night.
Intentions + mantras: softly state a positive mantra over your yoni egg, followed by stating your intentions. For example: for your mantra say something like love or whatever you want it to be (as many times as you want) and then state your intention like, I will attract happiness and kindness today.
